Hi everyone! Just a quick heads-up about your free <gamertag>@onxbox.net email – it's still here, but it's gotten a fantastic upgrade!

What's New?

We've made a significant improvement behind the scenes. Instead of just polling our Graph API for your mail, we've now integrated directly with the mail server. What does this mean for you?

• Send and Receive Emails: That's right! You can now send emails directly from your @onxbox.net address, in addition to receiving them. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities for how you use your OnXbox email!
  
• More Reliable Service: This direct integration provides a more robust and efficient connection to your mailbox.

SSO for New Mail Experience is Live!

Hey everyone!

Quick heads-up: Single Sign-On (SSO) is now fully enabled for our new mail experience! This means a smoother, more integrated way to access your emails.

And there's more good news on the horizon! We're planning to give you the option to create app passwords in the future. This will allow you to access your mail from all your favorite external clients – think Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, and more. Stay tuned for that! ?

Mailbox Migration Complete: Faster Speeds and More Freedom!

Great news, everyone! We've successfully migrated all existing mailboxes to a brand-new, lightning-fast server! This upgrade means everyone, including new users, will experience significantly improved performance and responsiveness when accessing their email.

What's New for You?

• Blazing-Fast Performance: Get ready for a smoother, quicker email experience. Sending, receiving, and organizing your mail will feel snappier than ever before.
  
• Your Mail, Your Way: We're excited to announce that you can now create app passwords! This gives you the freedom to use your preferred mail client – whether it's Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, or any other – to check your @onxbox.net emails.
  
• Single Sign-On (SSO) Remains Unchanged: For seamless access to other services, your SSO experience will stay exactly the same.
  
• Smart Endpoint Selection: Don't worry about complicated settings! When you input your <Gamertag>@onxbox.net email into your mail client, our smart servers will automatically detect your region and latency to provide you with the optimal ActiveSync, IMAP, and SMTP endpoints. This ensures the best possible connection for your device.

A Note on ActiveSync

We now have an ActiveSync-enabled endpoint for even more flexibility. While this offers great convenience, please note that it currently does not include the enhanced security features of our secure image proxying service, which also helps block email trackers. For those prioritizing maximum privacy and security, using a mail client with IMAP/SMTP and relying on your own ad/tracker blockers might be preferable.
